Kinship | littleKin

Branding, Package Design, Art Direction

Team: Evangeline Joo, Megan Doty
Photography: Hannah Schwob, Sarah Hopp

littleKin is a sub-brand of Kinship, tailored specifically for new puppy and kitten parents. It offers expert advice, innovative pet tools, and exclusive deals, all curated with the needs of pet owners in mind. The brand also provides a welcome box, packed with product samples and coupons from handpicked brands.

Our creative team was responsible for designing the logo, website, packaging, and the collateral included in the welcome box. We also had the opportunity to organize two photoshoots: one showcasing the box in a playful, game board/wonderland-themed setting, and the other highlighting the lifestyle of young pet parents in their homes.

Equinox Pride Campaign with Sotheby’s

Design

Team: Will Mayer, Sunny Lee, Vanina Kim, Connor Kelly

In celebration of Pride, Equinox presented Forms of Intimacy, a photography exhibit and online auction showcasing works from both established and emerging photographers within the LGBTQIA+ community. Hosted by Sotheby’s, 100% of the proceeds benefited Camp Felix PRIDE, a summer camp for LGBTQIA+ youth in the NYC foster care system.

Adopt a Pet | Shelter Plus

Branding

Design Team: Evangeline Joo

Shelter Plus is a new sub-brand of Adopt a Pet, where shelters collaborate with brands like Pedigree and IAMS to provide discounted food for new pet parents.

Our creative team was tasked with designing a fresh visual system for Shelter Plus, which included a new logo, typography, color palettes, photography direction, and shapes/patterns. While staying true to the identity of the parent brand (Adopt a Pet), we made sure to create something unique and cohesive for Shelter Plus.

Each quarter, a photo shoot was held to showcase new products for Equinox The Shop website. My role involved developing the concept, providing art direction, casting talent, and designing the final executions, including social media posts and email campaigns for the featured products.

Equinox | We Don’t Speak January

Design

Team: Will Mayer, Sunny Lee, Naomi Shultz, Erwin Sanvictores, Vanina Kim, Blake Morrison

“We Don’t Speak January” was a campaign launched on January 1st of 2023 at Equinox. While January is typically the biggest month for gym memberships, we made a statement by refusing to accept new members on that date. The reason? We believe those who join a gym on January 1st often aren't truly committed to getting fit.

Our design was featured in the New York Times' January 1st edition, as well as in Out of Home Displays and window displays in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and London. The campaign garnered over 2.5 billion organic impressions, set a new all-time record for web traffic, and led to the strongest start to a year in the company’s history.
